Weekly Parish Envelopes
Envelopes are almost fully distributed now.  We thank you for your patience in the matter. The Lenten Stations are due.  If you have not received your envelopes yet , it would still be appreciated  if you submitted your contribution in a plain envelope with your name and address included.  Also, anyone who is aware that they have not been included on recent distribution lists can leave their details with the Sacristy or the Parish Office.

Mass of the Chrism
Mass of Chrism Choir 2019 Invitation from Fr. Richard Scriven; there will be a choir practice for the Mass of Chrism in St Mary's Cathedral on Sunday 14th April, (Palm Sunday) @3.30pm.  All choir members are invited to participate in this diocesan celebration when Bishop Farrell blesses the Holy Oils.
The Mass of the Chrism will take place on Wednesday, 17th April @ 7:30pm in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny.  The Parish will run a free bus for anyone who may like to attend.  The bus will leave Piltown @ 6:15pm and Owning @ 6:30pm.  If you would like to avail of this bus, please contact either Margaret Farrell on 087-6430791 or the Parish Office on 051-643112 for further details.
Holy Places and Shrines; Bishop Farrell has reminded us that a collection for the Holy Places and Shrines will be held in all parishes on Good Friday.

Youth Club
Thanks to those adults who have already volunteered to help with the Youth Club. Any more out there? We will also be looking for Junior Youth Leaders for the ‘Your Mind Matters’ programme.

Preparation for First Holy Communion
Thanks to the parents who are helping with the First Holy Communion programme and congratulations on the Boat, the wonderful display in front of the altar.

Items for Newslwetter
Please note that the e-mail address for items being submitted for the Parish Newsletter is; piltownparishnews@gmail.comor through the Parish Office on         051-643112. Items must be submitted by 12noon each Wednesday.  However, it can happen that we do not always have the space to include every item sent in.

Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross and Divine Mercy prayers will be held in Owning House each Wednesday during Lent at 7:30 pm.  All are welcome.
Eucharistic Adoration is on- going in Owning House every Tuesday from 2pm to 6pm, can you give some time to The Lord during Lent? 

Holy Face of Jesus
Holy Face of Jesus; A speaker will visit the parish at the end of April to talk about a Novena and the Holy Face of Jesus.  Further details will follow.

Templeorum Town Twinning
Templeorum Town Twinning are holding a table-quiz in Anthony's Inn, Piltown on Friday 12th April at 9 p.m. Tables of four @ €20.00. Raffle on the night for fabulous Easter Hamper and other prizes.
