GROW is a community-based mental health organisation which holds weekly meetings in your local community.  GROW meetings provide help and support to anyone experiencing mental health difficulties or struggling with any aspect of their mental wellbeing.  Meetings are confidential and no referral is necessary, simply come along.  GROW promotes breaking social isolation and promoting social connectedness and is centred around the idea that ‘I alone can do it, but I cannot do it alone’.

FIRST COMMUNION MEETING   
A meeting for all parents of children who will receive their First Communion in May will be held on Tuesday, 20th February at 7.15pm in Piltown Community Centre.  Your attendance at this meeting is essential if you are unable to attend for any reason please contact Fr. PARISH FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION
We will have three Masses as part of our First Communion Preparation Programme these Masses will be on Sunday 11th March, Sunday 15th April and Sunday 22nd April.  We ask you to make a special effort to bring the children who are preparing for First Communion to Mass during Lent.

Old Creamery Enterprise Centre
Planning permission has recently been obtained for Phase 2 of the Old Creamery Enterprise Centre.
The tender documents are currently being prepared and the project will soon be put on E-Tender (www.etenders.gov.ie) which is a legal requirement.
It is hoped that Construction will commence in March and it is estimated that it will take 3 - 4 months to complete.

The committee of Piltown Social Club wish to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal supporters who attended our 20th Anniversary Dinner Dance last Saturday night in the Carraig Hotel.  The night was a wonderful success, with a lovely four course dinner, music by Checkers, spot prizes, dancing and craic till late.  In addition we wish to thank all those who gave donations and contributed prizes for our raffle on the night.  All funds raised will go to our Lourdes Pilgrimage Fund 2018.
