Enrolment Ceremony during Mass on weekend of 4th & 5th February 2017 for all children who will receive their Confirmation this year.  Enrolment in Piltown Church on Saturday 4th February at 6.30pm Mass, in Templeorum Church on Sunday 5th    February at 9am Mass and in Owning on Sunday 5th    February at 10am Mass.

Confirmation takes place on Sunday, 2nd April in Piltown Church at 11am

Community Food Hub:
On the last week of every month a small amount of foodstuff will be available for distribution at Piltown Community Centre.  Commencing next week Monday 30th January anybody wishing to avail can call mornings only to the Centre.

An important meeting of all Eucharistic Ministers of all Churches in the Parish will take place in Owning House on Monday 30th January at 7:30pm.  The agenda will include a review of the solemn standards of the Ministry along with an open discussion.  Meeting will take no longer than one hour.  Very important that all Eucharistic Ministers attend.

PIltown Social Club will be holding their Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday 4th February 2017 in the Carraig Hotel, Carrick on Suir.
Music on the night by Pat Hayes.  Full four course meal served from 8.30pm.
Spot prizes and raffle, all proceeds from the night go to the Lourdes Pilgrimage Fund.

LITURGICAL COMMITTEE: Meeting in Piltown Community Centre on Monday, 6th February at 7pm

Parish First Communion Preparation Programme
Our Parish First Communion Preparation Programme will begin with an Enrolment Ceremony during Mass on SUNDAY 29th January in Templeorum Church at 9am, in Owning Church at 10am and in Piltown Church at 11am.

Meeting for all parents of children who will receive their First Communion in May on Monday 13th February at 7.30pm in Piltown Community Centre.

There will be three further Masses as part of our preparation programme the children will take an active part in these Masses.  Dates for these Masses are Sunday 19th February,  Sunday 26th March and Sunday 30th April.
This is a very exciting time for your child as they prepare to receive their First Communion, I appeal to you to make a 100% commitment to this preparation programme.

Day Care Centre for People with Alzheimer's Disease / Dementia
The Village Day Centre in Kilkenny City is open Monday to Friday and provides an opportunity for people with dementia to socialise and get involved in some of the dementia specific activities.
The activities held in the day centre include; art, playing cards, bingo, exercise programmes, walks, day trips, music, dance & singing.
A hot meal, snacks and transport are also provided in this warm and homely atmosphere. To avail of the service or for more information call 056 7771230.

Piltown Toddler Group meets every Friday morning at Piltown National School, in the prefab to the rear of the school, from 11am to 12:30pm.  Parents & Childminders all welcome to come along with babies and toddlers.
